README.zh-CN.md is a full translation rather than a summary: the same 26
sections, the same code blocks. Both files link to each other.
The English README pointed readers at "the implementation plan" twice, for
a file that lives outside the repository. The README has since grown to
cover that design material itself, so the pointers went rather than the
content.
A package broken in the ways that matter still builds, installs and starts;
native modules left inside the asar fail on a user's machine the first time
they open a terminal. scripts/verify-package.mjs extracts the AppImage and
asserts the binaries really are unpacked beside it.
Also records that the deb metadata fields are placeholders.
Connection tree with interleaved folders and hosts, tabbed terminals
grouped by host, a pinned local shell, TOFU host key verification, and
credentials held by the OS keyring.
Terminal bytes travel on a per-session MessagePort with credit-based flow
control, so one session running `cat` on a large file cannot stall the
others. Transports reconnect on their own with jittered backoff, keeping
the scrollback and the tab while replacing only the connection beneath.
156 tests, including integration tests against a real sshd and a
migration exercised against a database built in the old shape.
